Pallet Services Inc. is a great example of opportunity and perseverance. The business started out of the back of a pickup truck 40 years ago with Jan and Ron Matre Sr. Ron would pick up pallets late at night in order to provide an opportunity for his two oldest sons to start a business of their own. Don Matre acting as CEO and Ron Matre as head of sales were able to turn that small nighttime gig into a budding company; later joined by their other siblings Tracy Matre-Waring and Tom Matre. What started off as a family business soon grew with the additions of many crucial employees some there from the early years and others added over time; Pallet Services Inc. was able to grow into the largest pallet supplier of grade A and B pallets in Western New York. The business has over 100 employees spread between their two locations one located in Clarence NY and the other in Rochester NY. We have put a lot of focus on creating and maintaining relationships; their family like environment has allowed for the retention of employees, customers, and suppliers over the course of their business life. We preserve the characteristics which allowed us to be successful over the last 40 years so we can continue to be the number one pallet supplier in western New York. We provide our used, custom, wooden and new pallets in Syracuse NY, and Erie PA also.
